Our story begins in 1963, in Fara Novarese. Around us, the rice fields shape the landscape and mark the seasons; just a little further away, the great textile tradition held a knowledge made of experience, precision, and gestures passed down through time.
It’s here that Manifattura Sesia was born.
Among our earliest products were balls of yarn used to sew the rice sacks of the surrounding area. A simple, functional product, far removed from the world of fashion we would later embrace, yet already rooted in something that still defines us today: a deep connection to our land, its resources, and the world around us.
From that thread, our first great soul was born: Hand knitting. The foundation stone upon which Manifattura Sesia would build what we are today.

Manifattura Sesia was founded in 1963 in Fara Novarese, in the heart of one of Italy’s most important textile districts, as a manufacturer specialising in the production of needlework yarns.
